1982 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo in Triple Black ! Priced at $17,995 with shipping included to just about any destination in the Continental US Absolutely stunning in every way this jeep was just completed by Precision 4X4 of Texas. This is a real Laredo model and has been totally restored from top to bottom. This jeep features the numbers matching 258 (4.2L) straight 6 that purrs like a kitten. It has the rare Auto Transmission feature and has such options as power steering, dash clock, tach and HEI distributor. This Jeep sports the Dana 300 Transfer case, Dana 30 Front Axle and Dana 20 rear. There just isn't enough room to list all the new parts that went into this restoration but the new parts alone total well over $10,000.    This Jeep started off in pretty good condition. The original odometer reads 87,000 miles and there was no rust. The hard top and doors are original to the Jeep and were in great shape. The body was completely soda blasted followed by 2 coats of epoxy primer and 3 coats of PPG Triple Black. The original Laredo Decals were then applied. The hard top was coated inside and out with gray Rhino Liner to match the Interior. All weatherstripping around the widshield and hard doors is brand new and the windshield was replaced. All the hardware, hinges, tie downs, hood vent, bumper, bumperettes, grab bar, etc where replaced with top quality polished stainless steel. The under side was coated with sound deadener. The engine was stripped down and rebuilt. The carb was replaced with an Empi Performance model and the new HEI distributor was added. All the hoses, vacumn lines, belts, etc were replaced. Even the wire looms were replaced with new ones. The Alternator, water pump, valve cover, solenoids, sensors...well pretty much everything was replaced with new. All the turn indicator lenses, side markers and tail lights were replaced with new ones. The attention to detail is awesome on this baby.   The interior is completely new. Seats, carpet, front seat belts, AM/FM/CD player, speakers, visors, all guages including the Laredo Tach and Clock, console, glove compartment,roll bar pad...the works are all new. All new shifter boots, knobs and so forth are just part of the detailing that will amaze you. The Jeep was topped of with brand new AT tires mounted on the original Laredo Chrome rims that are in excellant condition. The Jeep comes with the removable hard top and doors as well as a brand new bikini top.    Bottom line is this is a no excuses classic that will give you years of fun. Why pay $25,000 for a new one that will be worth half that in 3 years when you can own a REAL Jeep for a lot less and will hold it's value over the years?
